A Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services in Brookhaven, Miss. for Mr. Jimmy Bernard Crews, 74, of Brookhaven, Miss., who died May 5. Burial followed in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, June 1.

Jimmy was born on June 6, 1944, to James and Edith Kyle Crews. He served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed creating his own fishing lures and working with wood. He also loved to barbecue.

His parents; grandparents, Vajesta Jack Kyle and Ada Brown Kyle, and brothers, William R. Kyle, Hilton L. Kyle and Frank Still, preceded Mr. Crews in death.

Survivors include his son, James Jeffrey Crews and wife, Amy Marie; two grandchildren, Braxton Grey Crews and Grayson Bryce Crews; a number of nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
