Mr. Hank Wilson Snell, 72, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019.
Mr. Snell bravely worked as a firefighter for the City of Montgomery for over 20 years before retiring. He had a one-of-a-kind personality, which endeared him to all those who knew and loved him.
He will be sorely missed by them all. Mr. Snell was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammie Sexton; parents, Cecil and Vaden Snell; and three siblings, Daniel Snell, Thomas Ray Nichols, and Daphne Frost. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Jim Sternischer; former spouse, Doris Bateman and her daughter, Patricia Bateman; two siblings, Bobby Snell and Brenda (Kirby) Cauthen; three nieces, Shannon Cauthen, Jennifer Cauthen, and Tammy Myles; three nephews, Charles Frost, Travis Frost, and Larry Frost; special cousins, Kathy Easterling, Bill Easterling, Journey O’Donnell, Ashley Easterling, Edwin Cowles, Penny Snell, Amanda Snell, and Tonya Snell; and numerous other cousins, family, and friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later time with Rev. Judson Flint officiating.
