A Celebration of Life Service will be held at noon on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Georgiana for Harold C. Turner, 79, of Roanoke, who passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, at his residence. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery. The Rev. John Williams and the Rev. Chip Woodlen will officiate. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy C. Turner of Roanoke; daughter, Tina T. Leath of Roanoke; son, Michael Turner of Harvest; sisters, Joyce Pepper and Emogene Hooper, both of Piedmont, S.C., and Esther Woodlee of Midcothian, Va.; grandchildren, Clay Turner, Anna Turner and Stephanie Marcano, and great grandchild, Barrett Marcano.

The family would like to thank Harold’s caregiver, Herbert Kimble, for the all the attention given while in his care. Pallbearers will be Clay Turner, Cory Campbell, Rusty Hughes, Robert Morriss, Austin Morriss and Greg McKee.
