A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at Hopewell Baptist Church for Annie Elaine Turner Reeves, 81, of Satsuma, who passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, at her residence. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The Rev. Larry Gaston officiated. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Elaine was a native of Georgiana and a 1956 graduate of Greenville High School. She was a retired Nurse, who worked in Georgiana and Dothan prior to moving to Mobile. Her interests were gardening and reading.

Her parents, Ross (Bunt) and Annie Mae Dunnavant Turner; sister, Linda Knotts; brother, Sherrill Turner, and aunts, Alma Turner Bass and Velma Turner Whittington, preceded Mrs. Turner in death.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Albert Reeves of Satsuma; daughter, Tracy (Steve) Lewis of Semmes; son, Jerry (Erika) Reeves of Eight Mile; brothers, Buddy Turner of Greenville and Billy Turner of Montgomery, and three granddaughters, Blakleigh Buck, Zoe Reeves and Fiona Reeves.
