A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, in Petrey Cemetery for Mrs. Ouida Green Hudgens, 88, of Montgomery, who passed away on Friday, Aug. 31.
Mrs. Hudgens was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a graduate of Luverne High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the banking industry. She retired from “The Montgomery Advertiser” and enjoyed spending her free time knitting and crocheting.
Her husband, Guy R. Hudgens; their son, David R. Hudgens, and her parents, Roan and Bessie Hanchey Green, preceded Mrs. Hudgens in death.
Survivors include her children, Darryl (Karen) Hudgens and Lynne (Jesse) Hall; four grandchildren, Chris Hudgens, Brandi Hudgens, Josh Hudgens and Adam Hudgens; five great grandchildren, Jessie, Aubrye, Kara, Jon and Alyssa; sister, Judy Parker, and brother, Aubrey Green.
Active pallbearers were Josh Hudgens, Adam Hudgens, Taylor Williams, Jon Todd, Chris Hudgens and Brandon Parker.
Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directed.
