Aloisia “Lisa” Haslinger Stuart was born in 1934 in Friedberg, Czechoslovakia, a German area called the Sudetenland of Bohemia. Following WWII, the family did not want to remain under communist rule, so they relocated to an interim camp in Germany. From there, they relocated to Ludwigsburg, Germany; there she met and fell in love with Sgt. Pierce “Ted” Stuart Jr. He was an army medic stationed nearby. They married in 1954 and moved back to Greenville, Alabama, Ted’s home.

She and Ted owned several businesses together in Illinois and Greenville, Alabama. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, served them selflessly, and devoted her life to them.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alacare Hospice 321 Greenville By-Pass, Greenville, Al 36037 or First Assembly of God, 760 N. Conecuh Street, Greenville, Al 36037. Active Pallbearers will be Stephen Matthews, Alex Bowden, Jeff Matthews, Doug Tierce, Kenneth Till, and Keith Till.
