The Butler County Sheriff’s office, Greenville Police Department and 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force confiscated more $3,000 worth of drugs during a Friday morning bust.
Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden said two search warrants were served early Friday on two separate investigations.
Carstelle Demon Stewart, 32, of Forest Home, was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and intent to distribute crack cocaine. Authorities searched Stewart’s residence located at 215 Baskin Rd. in Forest Home and found one pound of marijuana and 10 grams of cocaine, along with three guns and $286 in cash.
A smaller amount of marijuana was found at James Henry Davis’ residence located at 825 Montrey Rd., also in Forest Home. The 55-year-old was charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden said the investigation into both cases have been ongoing.
“These were two separate cases that our office has been investigating for quite some time,” he said. “We’re working hard to keep drugs off our streets and make Butler County a safer place to live.”
