Mrs. Mary Clark Majors, 92, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at L. V. Stabler Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 6, 2018 from noon until 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Greenville, Ala.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Greenville at 1 p.m. with Rev. Angie Long and Rev. Matt Langford officiating.

Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery, Greenville, Ala.

Mrs. Majors was preceded in death by her husband,  Edgar Allen Majors; parents, Dwight and Bertha Clark; grandson, Jason Smith; brother, John Clark; sisters, Sarah Derrick and Bertha Chrietzberg.

She is survived by two daughters,  Mary McLean (Robert) of Fleming Island, Fla., Jane M. Adams (Ronnie) of Greenville, Ala.; son, John D. Majors (Virginia) of Pike Road, Ala.; seven grandchildren,

Amy Lee (David) of Jacksonville, Fla., Carrie McLaren(Rob) of Orange Park, Fla., Gwendolyn Beslow (Brian) of Morristown, N.J., Abbie Lee Roehm (Tom) of Cary, N.C., Mibbie Majors of Raleigh, N.C.,

Lacey Skipper (Patrick) of Greenville, Ala., and Marcey Nicholas (Todd) of Dothan, Ala.;  16 Great-grandchildren,  Allison and Cady Lee, Maggie and Molly McLaren, Wolf Beslow, Jason Beslow, Magnus Beslow, Virginia Paces and John Beckham Roehm, Natalie and Sarah Catherine and John Patrick Skipper, Mary Todd and Allie Clark Nicholas, Kate and Gabe Smith and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Majors was co-owner of Majors Laundry of Greenville, Ala., a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greenville, Ala., for more than 50 years, a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Alabama Greenville Chapter, and also a nurse at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Montgomery, AL.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Greenville, 715 Fort Dale Road, Greenville, AL  36037.
