The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale will be held on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 at the Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library. The traditional preview sale will be on Friday, starting at 5 p.m. and running until 6 p.m. (admission $5). Saturday, the book sale will be open during regular library hours, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We always receive tremendous support from the community, from donations to people coming out to pick up some great books a big bargain,” said Library Director Kevin Pearcey. “Additionally, we couldn’t do it without the support of our Friends and the library’s Crochet Club members, all who help to set up the Community Room for the sale.”
All proceeds from the Book Sales held in October and April go to help the library fund summer reading events and additional programming at the library for the public.
“Not only can you collect some great reading material, but you will also be helping your public library,” said Pearcey. “Thanks to everyone who donated books this year. We’re looking forward to a great sale.”
