Mr. Willie E. “Bill” Greene, 91, of Pace, Fla., died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla. A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with Evangelist Gary and Marcia Howard officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Interment will follow with military honors in Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Greene was born Dec. 6, 1926 in Searcy, Alabama to R D Greene and Fannie C. Dean. He served in the United States Army during WWII, was retired from Monsanto Company where he was a Chemical Operator and was a member of the Pensacola Community of Christ Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 66 years Dorothy ”Bobbie” Greene, daughter Carolyn Thompson and two brothers Pete Greene and Donald Greene.

He is survived by his son Mike Greene and wife Carol; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Russell Greene and Danny Greene, sister, Shirley Killough. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
