Grover L. Waller, 85, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 142 Ashmore Road, Honoraville, AL 36042. 

Mr. Waller was a Korean War Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient.  He was also retired from the transportation industry and the city of Decatur. 

Mr. Waller was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lou “Polly” Waller; son, Steve Waller; and sister,  Johnnie Faye Russell.

Survivors include: son, Hurley L. Waller; daughter,  Gayle Bridges (Rob); grandsons,  Mike Waller, Joseph Waller and Daniel Waller; brothers,  Roger Waller and Tommy Waller; sisters,  Betty Coleman and Gyrtis Koff; and two great-grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
