A two-vehicle crash at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24 has claimed the life of a Highland Home man.

Samuel Edward Gray, 47, was killed when his 2006 BMW struck a 2004 Ford F-150 driven by William Ander Paulk Jr. of Lowdesboro.

Gray, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paulk was transported to Baptist South in Montgomery with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash occurred on Alabama 97 near Highland Home. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
