Authorities searching for 89-year-old man

- Cecil Betterton was last seen wearing a blue shirt and pants traveling west on Highway 106 in Georgiana, Ala., around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cecil Betterton.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Community Information Center, Mr. Betterton is an 89-year-old white male and may be suffering from a condition that may impair his judgement.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and pants traveling west on Highway 106 in Georgiana, Ala., around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 2017.
According to Butler County sheriff Kenny harden, his last known location to date was at the Chevron station located along Highway 106, where he was seen filling up a vehicle with gas.

Betterton was last seen with a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. The pickup has reportedly sustained damage to the driver’s side.
Mr. Betterton may be driving a 2001 silver Chevrolet Silverado with Alabama tag 10AN816.
