A memorial service was held at Southside Baptist Church in Greenville, Alabama, on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at 1 p.m. The family received friends prior to the service.
Bob was born on Sept. 17, 1951 at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama. Bob enjoyed reading and fishing, but his main joy in life was being a dad to his beloved daughter and husband to Petra, his wife of 32 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, William M Huggins, and mother, Dorothy P. Huggins (Georgiana). He is survived by his wife Petra H. Huggins and daughter Darby Marie Huggins of St. Cloud Florida. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Don A. (Nicole) Huggins of Evergreen, Colorado; Ed A. (Pat) Huggins, of Adger, Alabama; Patricia H. (Barry) Ballew of Georgiana, Alabama, and Gayle H. (Carlos) Perez, of Adger, Alabama as well as many nieces and nephews. Although Bob suffered from cancer for many years, he never gave up hope.
