He joined Union Baptist Church at an early age where he served faithfully.  Prince was a devoted husband and father.  He only had one arm, but he did anything with that one arm that any man with two arms could do.

His hobbies were fishing and gardening, and he loved raising vegetables and got much joy from blessing the less fortunate with them.

He passed from life to eternal rest on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at Georgiana Nursing Home in Georgiana, Ala.

He was in the nursing home by choice.  He admitted himself knowing that his devoted son, Earlie, and daughter, Gracie, were going to see that he would be taken care of.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four children, Hattie Page, Detroit, Mich., Gracie Kelley and Rosetta Marsh, both of Greenville, Ala., and Earlie (Evon) Marsh of Millbrook, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Charla Mae Marsh, Greenville, Ala.; a foster family whom he loved dearly, including Hattie, Cassandra and Renee Gulley; 42 grandchildren, 119 great grandchildren and numerous other grandchildren; a future son-in-law, James (Pop) Chambers; a special nephew, Jimmie Riley and a host of other relatives and friends.
