One of Greenville’s greatest exports is returning to his hometown for a little July 4 fun.

Baltimore Raven and Greenville native Zadarius Smith will be hosting a pre-Fourth of July party Monday, July 3 in Greenville at Dunbar Park from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.  There will be food, water slides, jumpers, music and much more, as well as a fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. For Smith, the opportunity to return home was a welcome break.

“As a professional athlete, we don’t have much time off,” he said. “But for me, to be off from training and to get a chance to spend time with family and friends before camp starts is great.  Also, it’s good to see the smiles on kids’ faces from the jumpers and water slides.”
