Edward Mullin

Funeral services for SSG Edward “Paul” Mullin were held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. from First Missionary Baptist Church.

Rev. Lionel Davis officiated. Full Military burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Ala., directed.

SSG Edward “Paul” Mullin was born to the late Ms. Charlotte Franklin on Aug. 10, 1955 in Greenville, Ala.   He was raised by the late Mr. Robert Greene and Mrs. Malverna Greene.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Mullin; brother, Lloyd Earl Greene; and special friend, Dorothy Yelder.

Paul accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and was a faithful member until his health started to fail.

Paul joined the Alabama National Guard, serving 20 years and retiring as SSG.

Paul met Callie Robinson and to this union they were blessed with a son. Callie went on to her heavenly home.

Paul was the owner of Paul Cemetery Works and P&D Florist for more than

20 years.

Paul has formed a great relationship, both personally and professionally, from far and near. He has made a great impact in a lot of lives. He was a funny, loving and humble man about his business. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandson.

Paul departed this life on Friday, May 5, 2017 at his residence.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories son, Gregory Robinson (Laquesta); grandson, Ja-Bryan Robinson; and mother, Malverna Greene, all of Greenville, Ala.; sister, Edna Colvin, Dothan, Ala.; stepchildren; Loraine Rudolph, Jay-Lee Rudolph, (Jacqueline) Lillian (Joseph) Hamilton, Sharon Robinson (Darryl), Samaria Robinson (Darryl), Jacqueline (Michael) Reese and

Janet Yelder-Hudson; two sisters-in-law, Mattie Harrison and Dorothy Greene; brother-in-law; Arthur (Blue-Boy) Rudolph; devoted and loyal friends, Men of the 2000 Professional Club, Bessie (Mint) Crenshaw, Annie Stewart, Dorothy Mahan, Juliet Bonham and Buddy McBride, all of Greenville,

Ala.; a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, including one  devoted niece,

Shandler Dixon of Dothan, Ala.; cousins, other relatives and friends.
