Percy Webster Bentley

Percy Webster “Bud” Bentley, 87, of Minter passed away on May 5, 2017. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 3 p.m. at New Bethel Cemetery with Reverend Dan Nixon officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at New Bethel Cemetery.

He enlisted in the United States Navy on Jan. 1, 1951 and served his country until 1954. He then worked for G.E. in Lynn, Mass., in the Aircraft and Turbine Dept. for 40 years. He belonged to the V.F.W. Post 507 and became commander in 1963.

He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Bentley. He is survived by his wife, Sally Bentley; daughters, Valerie Peach (Ron) and Roberta Leger (Richard); sister, Helen Boivin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
