As the Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association Food Pantry Director, I would like to thank the BB&T Bank and its employees for their tremendous help with our recent food distribution to families in need.

The bank donated a generous amount in groceries for these families. Six bank employees came to help and spent four hours helping stock shelves, bag groceries and distribute food to the needy family members.

When the employees saw that the food pantry was in dire need of shelving to store food supplies, they also donated money for shelves and storage improvement to make food the shelter better.

The Food Pantry is a part of the Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist building in Glenwood. Erica, a BB&T employee, was very instrumental in her help with the food pantry. We had four volunteers from Dozier Baptist Church.

Ben Chandler, the Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist missionary and his wife Patricia were great help with the food distribution. David Duckworth was also another volunteer.

Many thanks and appreciation and God bless BB&T for your great help.
