Funeral services for the late Mr. Johnny Mack Stackhouse were held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at noon from Sweet Home AME Zion Church.

Rev. Kenta White officiated. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery.

Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., directed.

Johnny Mack Stackhouse was born Jan. 30, 1961 in Greenville, Ala., to the late Mr. James Edward and Mrs. Clara Bell Stackhouse Sr. He was their ninth child. He was well known by his middle name, “Mack.”

On Feb. 18, 2017 the Lord called Johnny Mack home. He is predeceased by his father James Edward  Stackhouse Sr.; mother, Clara Bell Stackhouse; two brothers, Jimmy Rodger and Calvin Lee Stackhouse; three sisters, Annie Jewel Reaves, Katie Ruth Lockett and Linda Ruth Hartley; and one brother-in-law, Deacon Clifton Reaves.

Mack leaves to cherish his memory one sister Dianne Stackhouse of Bridgeport, Conn.; five brothers, James Stackhouse Jr. (Rose) and Terry Stackhouse Sr. (Bernadette) of Stratford, Conn., Benjamin Stackhouse Sr., (Retha) Bridgeport, Conn., Melvin Stackhouse (Elaine) of Virginia Beach, Va., and Timmy Stackhouse (Deborah) of Murfreesboro, Tenn; a close dear friend, Edward Ezekiel of Bridgeport, Conn., a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
