Mr. Hilton “Shaq” Mixon passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Mr. Mixon was a lifelong resident of Georgiana and the Mixonville community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Bell Mixon; son, Leon “BoBo” Mixon; and daughter, Tessie Walker.

Mr. Mixon is survived by eight children: Audrey Coney, Gladys Bell, Alvin Mixon, Essie Mixon, Donald Ray Mixon Sr., Linda Rampersad, Tilda Marie Henderson and Yvonne Mixon.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 20 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Rice & West Funeral Home, Greenville, AL.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21 at noon at College Street Church of Christ in Greenville, AL. Minister Bishnoo Ramparsad will be officiating; Carter Rice & West Funeral Home will be directing.
