Mrs. Willie Mae Gipson, 74, a resident of Fort Deposit, Ala., passed away peacefully at her residence on Feb. 5, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the chapel of Carter Rice & West Funeral Home, 10 Chalet Drive, Greenville, Ala. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 starting at 1 p.m. at the Fort Deposit Municipal Complex, Fort Deposit, Ala., with Minister James Daniels officiating and Carter Rice & West Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Fort Deposit Cemetery.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Mr. Willie James Gipson, and her daughter, Lucinda Williams. Mrs. Gipson is survived by six children: James Charles Gipson, Otis Earl Gipson, Lenitha Wiley, Jerry Lee Gipson, Patrina Mae Gipson and Pretressia Mushay Gipson.
