Maryanne C. Revette, 90, of Paxton, Fla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016. She was born on Aug. 16, 1926 in Avery, Miss., to Tom Crager and Almina Ferguson as one of 10 children.
Maryanne worked as a retail bookkeeper and in her church nursery. She was a blessing to everyone she met. A smile will always be associated with her name. Her family and friends had endless admiration for her nurturing essence and artistic abilities. She was truly a gift, and an extraordinary example of the perfect mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was, undoubtedly, a lady with an inspirational stature of elegance.
She was a strong, independent woman who influenced her loved ones to be courageous and kind. She deeply loved her savior, Jesus Christ, and this gave her family peace with her passing. Prayers were answered through her peaceful and painless passing. It is true, she could never be forgotten. Memories of her will bring joy for a lifetime.
She is survived by her children, James Revette of Paxton, Mike Revette and his wife, Tami Revette of Honorville, Mark Revette of Mobile and Robin Morrow and her husband, Joe Morrow of Paxton. Her legacy continues with five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James Revette, grandson Ethan Cook, and daughter-in-laws Becky and Shirley Revette.
Funeral arrangements will begin Wednesday at Paxton Baptist Church with a 10 a.m. brunch and visitation, followed by a 12 p.m. funeral service with John Lovelady officiating. Family and friends are also invited to attend her 3 p.m. graveside service at Union Cemetery in Georgiana, Ala.
