Mrs. Mary Josephine Lowery, 76 a resident of Greenville, Ala., died Thursday, October 13, 2016.  Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Wald Church of Christ with Minister Jimmy Benson officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Lowery is preceded in death by her parents, Hester and Velma Smith; son, Anthony Lowery, and brother, John Franklin Smith.  Survivors include her husband, Dovie Edward Lowery of Greenville; children, Dianne Loe (Milton) of Calera; Sheila Tracy (Mike) of Pinson;  Robert Lowery of Greenville; Brenda Trent (Keener) of Greenville; Mark Lowery (Donna) of Greenville; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Myrick Morgan (Bill) of Greenville and many nieces, nephews, and others.
