Marjorie Joyce Pope Johnston, 94,  a resident of Ft. Myers, Fla., died Oct. 2, 2016  in the Pavilion at Hospice of Shell Point Village, Ft. Myers, FL . A graveside service will be Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery with Sara Manson officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.

Mrs. Johnston is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Johnston Sr; parents, Monty B. and Cora Annette Pope; and several brothers and sisters, Euel, Lucille, Ruth, Lala, LaFaye and Ralph.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Smith (Dane) of Ft. Myers, Fla.; son, Joseph H. Johnston Jr. (Katherine) of Deltona, Fla.; three granddaughters, two grandsons,  and many nieces and nephews.
