The Alabama Department of Transportation has closed the inside lane on Interstate 65 northbound at mile post 131.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone. The lane will be closed overnight and will reopen by the end of the day Tuesday.

Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly.
