Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Thompson were held on Wednesday, July 6 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hudson Funeral Services. Rev. Joseph Feagin officiated. Burial followed in Magnolia
Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., directed. Mrs. Lillie Mae Thompson was born on Sept. 4, 1949 to the late Tommy Lee and Ophelia L. Harris. Lillie met and married Mr. Willie F. Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Florence McCloud. She was baptized at an early age. Lillie left this earthly world on Wednesday, June 29 at her
residence surrounded by loved ones and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving children, including one son, Jimmy (Sandra) Soles, Georgiana, Ala.; four daughters, Daphne (Willie) McMeans and Julia L. Soles, both of Greenville, Ala., Jacqueline (Gary) Smith, Luverne, Ala., and Alicia Longmire, Greenville, Ala.; sister, Peggy (Jessie) Clayborne; 18 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four brothers-in-law, David (Eva Lois) Thompson, Ernest (Rosie Jean) Thompson, Robert Thompson and Dewayne Thompson; four sisters in-law, Patricia (Jean) Hasley, Eloise Thompson, Norma (Cleaves) Smith and Sarah (Ricky) Gregory; two devoted cousin, Renee Shephard and Dorothy Smith, both of Greenville, Ala; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
