Mr. “L.G.” Taylor Jr. 98, a resident of Greenville, died May 27. A graveside service will be Tuesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends Monday, May 30, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his wife, Memrie S. Taylor.  Survivors include his daughter, Betty Crutchfield, of Greenville; son, James Robert  “Bobby” Taylor (Patricia), of Greenville; grandchildren, Christy Welch (Scott), David Jordan (Teresa), Sarah Harding (Cyrome), Joyce Tolbert (Wendall), Carolyn Halford (Thomas), James Taylor, Jr., and Stacey Taylor; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Taylor Davis, of Greenville; nieces and nephews.
