Shayla Terry has been hired as an intern for Greenville Newspapers, LLC.

“I did a story for The Luverne Journal Profile, and immediately fell in love with the community,” Terry said.

“It’s like being at home.”   

Terry is a senior at Troy University majoring in multimedia journalism. While at GNL, Terry will complete a 10-week internship with The Luverne Journal. She hails from Brundidge, Ala., where she was a graduate of Pike County High School. She is scheduled to graduate from Troy in December.

“We’re very excited to have Shayla working with us this summer,” said GNL managing editor Andy Brown.

“She’s enthusiastic and hardworking, and I believe will be a tremendous asset to our newspaper and the Crenshaw County community.”
