A group of animal-loving students at Greenville Elementary School banded together to lend a helping hand to the Butler County Humane Society.

The students formed a club called the Shelter Savers with the goal of providing assistance to animals in the area that don’t have homes.  After reading “The Lemonade War,” the group decided to put on a food drive benefiting the Humane Society. The club collected more than 50 bags of food, which on Tuesday it donated to the BCHS.
