Vera Ealum, 94, a resident of McKenzie, Ala., passed away Wednesday, May 18. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21 from Bushfield Cemetery with Rev. Rex Tolbert officiating. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., will be directing arrangements. Survivors include daughters, Mable Peavy and Veta Ealum, both of McKenzie, Ala., and Shirley Daughtery, Greenville, Ala.; son, Larry Ealum, McKenzie, Ala.; and sister-in-law, Ella Mae McCarter, McKenzie, Ala. Vera also leaves behind four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
