LBW Community College Vice President Dr. Jim Krudop was recognized by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) International Honor Society at the recently-held annual convention in National Harbor, Md.
Nominated by the Beta Pi Nu Chapter on LBWCC’s Greenville campus, Krudop was one of five nationwide to receive the prestigious Michael Bennet Lifetime Achievement Award for exceptional dedication to the mission and programs of PTK and efforts to support student success over an extended period of time.
“Receiving this recognition is one of the most exciting and memorable events in my life,” said Krudop.
In addition to his support of the chapter in Greenville, Krudop also continues to support the Alpha Beta Eta chapter for students on campus in Andalusia and Opp.
“I have supported PTK and chapter projects through the years because they provide students valuable learning experiences and opportunities to develop strong leadership skills,” he said. “I am grateful to the Beta Pi Nu chapter for nominating me for this distinguished award.”
