The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who stole 18 head of cattle from Mid State Stockyards in Lowndes County during the early Wednesday morning.

As a member of the ACA, Mid State Stockyards in Letohatchee falls under the protection of the Cattle Theft Reward Program. This program awards $1,000 to anyone who offers information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who steal or destroy cattle owned by ACA members.

Surveillance video captured a white male, approximately 6-foot tall and weighing 250 pounds with dark hair, stealing 18 head of yearling calves from the stockyard at 2 a.m. on Wednesday. He was driving an early 1990s model Ford truck, possibly dark green or black. He used a black trailer with white rims. The trailer was an older gooseneck model with a side load ramp.
