Brady Knight, 70, a resident of Fort Deposit, Ala., died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 at Baptist South Medical Center. The funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Fort Deposit United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Carlson officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Little Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dianne M. Knight of Fort Deposit, Ala.; children, Scott Knight (Kimberly) of Haleyville, AL and Kristy Knight of Fort Deposit, AL; grandchildren: Justin Murphy, Courtney Knight, Brandon Duke and Sarah Knight; great-grandson: Logan Murphy; sisters: Peggy Flippo of Guin, AL and Faye Samples of Leeds, AL; brother: Allan Knight (Mary Anne) of Northport, AL and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mr. Knight was a devoted member of the Fort Deposit Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Deposit Arts Council. He was also the Fort Deposit Man of the Year in 1992.
