Era Mae Harrison, 88, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died at her home Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016. The funeral service will be Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at Antioch East Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ronnie Boulware officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Antioch East Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by her husband, John Fred Harrison of Greenville, Ala.; daughter, Fredda Marie Harrison Ingram (Wallace) of Richmond Hill, Ga.; son, John Morgan Harrison Sr. (Laura) of Birmingham, Ala.; grandchildren, John Morgan Harrison Jr., Matthew Paul Harrison, Luke Ingram and Caleb Ingram; sister, Mertice Porterfield of Greenville, Ala.; brother, Ira Mac Harrison (Pallen) of Nashville, Tenn., and many nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime member of Antioch East Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many of the years. She also was a devoted beekeeper.
