Edna R. Smith, 84, a resident of Lapine, Ala., passed away on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at Cool Springs Cemetery in Lapine, with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. Survivors include husband, Robert Smith, Lapine; daughter, Brenda (Lee) Newell, Hope Hull, Ala.; son, Bobby (Pat) Smith, Lapine; sister, Cumi Crum, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; grandsons, Michael (Wendy) Smith, Chris (Amber) Newell, Brian (Laura) Newell and Trent (Kelley) Newell, and eight great-grandchildren.
