After food and fellowship, everyone enjoyed a very informative program given by guest speaker Mrs. Melissa Bowen of Prattville. Peggy Horn introduced Bowen. Bowen’s speech was titled, “Gods plan for my life.”

Her presentation included, her experiences as women’s consult for Alabama WMU, board chairmen for Alabama WMU and the WMU director at First Baptist Church in Prattville.

Mrs. Bowen is now managing attorney for legal services of Alabama, which is a non-profit law firm representing domestic violence victims.

South Luverne hosted this meeting with the assistance of a meal from Union Baptist and Mt. Zion Baptist churches.

Mrs. Doris Rogers presided over the meeting.

Several nice door prizes were given away.

New Ebenezer Church won the attendance percentage and visitors banner at the meeting.
