Ozan Crenshaw Peterson

Mrs. Ozan Crenshaw Peterson, 79, formerly of Greenville, Ala., received her wings on Friday morning, July 17. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and St. Jude School of Nursing in Montgomery, Ala. She was employed as a nurse by L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital for more than 30 years and a deputy of Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Peterson; parents, Roosevelt and Zettie B. Crenshaw; two brothers, James and Paul Crenshaw; and one sister, Barbara Crenshaw Freeman.
She is survived by her sisters, Annie Perkins and Betty Jones; children, Beverly Davidson, J. T. Luckie, Jim Luckie, Derby Luckie and Jan Ray-McDonald; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home – 2501 Carmichael Avenue NW – Huntsville, AL 35816.
