Greenville man involved in fatal crash

A Greenville man and an unidentified passenger were airlifted following a Sunday afternoon crash that claimed three lives near Brewton.

Alabama State Trooper public information officer Jamie Maloy said 51-year-old John Allen Waller was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado on U.S. Hwy. 31 near the 80-mile marker, seven miles north of Brewton just before 4 p.m.

Maloy identified the fatalities as 47-year-old Eddie Ray Taylor, his 12-year-old daughter, Diamond, and a passenger, 35-year-old Keelley Tonokia James Middleton.

The trio was killed when their 2008 Chevrolet Malibu collided with Waller’s truck.

Waller and his unidentified passenger were air lifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Pensacola, Fla., for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation, Maloy said.
