David Ray Rogers, 64, a resident of Pine Apple, Ala., died on Thursday, June 04.  The funeral service will be Saturday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Leverette officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation was held Friday, June 05 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in his wife, Pennye Renee Carden Rogers; parents, Glenda and Lomax Rogers; and brother, Marvin Rogers. He is survived by his sister, Greta Rogers Beasley (Terry) of Honoraville, Ala.; brothers, James Howard Rogers of Luverne, Ala., Clayton Lomax Rogers (Sherri) of Honoraville, Clifford Allen Rogers (Sherry) of Luverne and Calvin Mathew Rogers (Peggy) of Honoraville, and a number of niece and nephews.
