“We invite all Bama fans out for an evening of entertainment and Bama fun. If you love Crimson Tide football, this is the place to be,” said Sue Arnold, chapter treasurer.

Conyers is a native of Montgomery and has worked as a practice official for the Crimson Tide since 1960. He has worked under every Alabama coach since Paul “Bear” Bryant.

The University of Alabama football coaches’ dressing room in the football complex was dedicated to Conyers.

“I have known Eddie for about 30 years,” Arnold said. “He is such a brilliant and comical man. We are so happy to have him come speak for at our Crimson Countdown and can’t wait to hear his memorable stories.”

The cost for students to attend is $15. The cost for adults is $25. All proceeds go to the Louis S. “Pat” Whetstone Endowed Scholarship and the Butler County Chapter Endowed Scholarship.
