Mr. Ronald Sasser, 80, a resident of Brantley, died Saturday, May 2, 2015.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. William Leverette officiating.

Interment followed in Weed Cemetery, with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Sasser was preceded in death by his parents, Lake and Ella Sasser; two brothers, Tyler Sasser and Oscar Sasser; and a sister, Maeve Sasser.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Audrey Johnson Sasser; three grandsons, Jason Messick, Jessie (Jean Marie) Messick and Jacob Messick; and five great-grandchildren, Cody Messick, Chase Messick, Dylin Messick, Emily Rose Messick and Kadin Lewis. Active pallbearers were Chase Messick, Wayne Sasser, Tyler Sasser, Paul Sasser, James Smith and Colen Montgomery.
