Emogene McIntyre Coleman

Funeral Mrs. Emogene McIntyre Coleman, 87, of Mobile, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015. She was born on Sept. 10, 1927 in McKenzie to Asbury and Belle Brown McIntyre. She was married to Luther B. Coleman from Feb. 22, 1947 until his death in 1994. She worked in the revenue department of the City of Mobile until her retirement in 1990. She is survived by three children, Michael D. Coleman (Denise), Patrick D. Coleman (Ruthie) and Wanda J. Willie (Tyler); six grandchildren, Ryan Coleman (Nikki), Ian Coleman, Kristen Raley (Cliff), Kyle Willie, Kevin Willie (Brittney) and Beth Adams (Will); eight great-grandchildren, Madison Willie, Alana Raley, Brianna Raley, Ashlynn Raley, Aiden Raley, Raley Adams, Hays Adams and Taylor Terry,  with two more on the way; other relatives and friends. There will be a visitation at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, with a graveside service following in Mobile Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society. Roy Winston Snead, 79, a resident of Foley, and a former resident of Greenville, died at Sacred Heart Hospital on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 beginning at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church with Reverend William Leverette officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Mr. Snead is survived by his wife, Kay M. Snead of Foley; daughter, Kimberly Ann Snead of McKenzie; sons, Michael B. Snead (Patty W.) of Millbrook and Borden Barber (Amanda) of Foley; grandchildren, Rena Mae Barber, Cameron Colby Barber, Chloe Lynn Barber, Mandy Haddock and Brandon Keppler; great-grandchild, Reese Perry; sister, Doris Worley of Carlisle, Pa., and brother, Charles Snead of Daphne.
