The Crenshaw County Cattlemen’s Association will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Tom Harbin Ag Center.

Each member and those interested in becoming members are invited to attend and bring their spouse or a question. A table will be set up at the entrance so you can pay your dues and your spouse’s meal.

The cost will be $30 for new members or renewal of annual dues, or $40 for membership and one other meal.

A steak dinner will be served. A business session will be conducted for the election of officers and directors. Mr. Stephen Donaldson, of Alabama Farmers’ Cooperative Animal Nutritionists, will be the speaker.

The Association members are selling $10 chances on the Crenshaw County Grand Champion steer or $1,000 cash and these tickets will be available at the meeting.

Two winners will be drawn and each will receive a side of beef, also there will chances drawn for $50 beef certificates as well.

The drawing will be held April 2, 2015. The proceeds go to help fund the annual Cattlemen’s scholarship program.
