Mr. Max Edward Bell, 78, a resident of Atlanta, and formerly of Luverne, died Thurs., Dec. 25, 2014. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 27, 2014 at Liberty Congregational Church with Minister Robert Foreman officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, Mallie and Lula Jones Bell, and a sister, Betty Traylor. He is survived by three children, David (Cheryl) Bell, Debbie (Alan) Arena and Doug (Sarah) Bell; 10 grandchildren; wife, Nelda Ann Bell; two sisters, Elizabeth Cross and Linda (Jerry) Colquitt; and two brothers, Roger (Pat) Bell and Don (Peggy) Bell.
