Vernon Stabler Herring

 

Vernon Stabler Herring, 81, a resident of Greenville, died on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at Stabler Memorial Hospital.  Graveside services were held on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Sunrise Memorial Park with Rev. Allen Wynn officiating.  Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directed services.

Mr. Herring was predeceased by his parents, Robert anad Lora Herring; brothers,  Paul and Joseph Herring; sister, Mabel Myrick; and  grandsons,  Jamie & Eric Wesley.

Mr. Herring is survived by his wife,  Donna Herring; brothers,  William Herring of Greenville, and Bob Herring of Montgomery; sisters,  Marjorie Myrick, Melba Parker and Martha Thompson all of Greenville, and Millie Crews of Montgomery; children, Allen Herring of Hawaii, Andy Herring of Kentucky, Christi Perry of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Nancy Wesley of Greenville; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Justin Herring, Bobby Herring, Jr., Maxwell Myrick, Bobby Dixon, Chuck Crews and Matt Parker.

Patsy Lee White, 85, a resident of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014. Graveside Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Garland Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Ms. White is preceded in death by her parents, Aaron C. and Vinnie Lee; husband, Willie White; sisters, Bobbie Ruth Davis and Christine Lee.
