Frank C. Bond

 

Frank C. Bond, 90, a resident of Georgiana, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Harvill and Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating. Burial followed in Garland Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana will be directing arrangements. Mr. Bond retired from CSX Railroad in 1983. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 204 OES CHapter Garland since 1954 and Palmer Chapter since 1989 #29 and Eastern Star, Garland # 684 since 1954. Survivors include: daughter, Deborah Byrd of Coden; son, Albert Franklin Bond of Titus; sisters, Lousie Johnson and Joyce Sullivan, both of Winterhaven, Fla., and Mary Vickery of Bay Minette; brother, William Thurston Bond of Montgomery; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. John Steven Kervin

 

John Steven Kervin, 54, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014 at Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. Isaiah Kervin officiating with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. Survivors include: sons, Ryan Kervin of Tuscaloosa, Steven Kervin of Montgomery; parents, John Howard and Vonciel Kervin of Georgiana; brothers, Christopher Howard Kervin and James Cosby Kervin, both of Montgomery; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Clarence Edward Stonestreet

 

Clarence Edward “Stoney” Stonestreet, 79, a resident of Greenville, died on Sat., Nov. 29, 2014.

Funeral services were held on Mon., Dec. 1, 2014, at Antioch West Baptist Church with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mr. Stonestreet was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Croley Braden Stonestreet; brother, Wilbur Stonestreet; sisters, Myrtle Culp, Joy Stonestreet, Eddie Loy Hall, Estelle Stonestreet and Jeanette Stonestreet; aunt, Evie Whittington; uncle, Oscar Whittington; and parents, Clarence and Rose Stonestreet.

He is survived by his children, Pam Filippone (Chuck) of North Carolina, Keith Stonestreet (Melanie) of Greenville and Resa Lakes (Howard) of Greenville; step-children, Robert Braden (Shirley) of Greenville, Rita Blair (Craig) of Tuscaloosa, Regina Legendre (Mickey) of Monroeville, Renee Mullins (Terry) of Greenville and Rhonda Stinson (Wayne) of Greenville; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
