H. T. Moulton, 84, of Luverne, passed away, Thurs., Nov. 20, 2014 at his home in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Nov. 22 at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL, 36109, Reverends Reed Bentin and Guy Wright will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Family and Friends may call from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
H. T. was born Oct. 27, 1930 in Samson, to Horace and Tena Moulton and raised by Horace and Ruby Moulton following the death of his mother. He graduated from Turkey Creek High School in Plant City, then entered the U. S. Air Force and served in Korea, returning home in 1955. On Sept. 17, 1955, he married the former Helen Ruth Compton in Troy. H. T. worked in civil service with the U. S. Air Force for 30 years until his retirement in Jan., 1987.
H. T. is survived by his wife, Helen Moulton; one son, Richard L. Moulton and his wife, Carrie; two brothers, Wayne and his wife, Diane, and Leon; five grandchildren, Brien and Angela Vickers, Lydia Vickers, Richard J Moulton, Jonathan and Lysa Moulton, and Rebecah Berry; two great-grandchildren, Mallory Vickers and Nolan Vickers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace, Tena and Ruby; his brothers and sisters, Lois, Thel, W.D. “Dud,” Blanche and John. Leak Memory Chapel of Montgomery will be directing.
