Mr. Wayne Norris Tompkins, 64, a resident of Enterprise, died Thurs., Nov. 6, 2014. Graveside funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Brantley Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Bryant officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Tompkins was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Tompkins, and his parents, W D “Buck” and Louise Godwin Tompkins.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Weed Tompkins; two children, Marc (Amanda) Tompkins and Charlene (John) Pollette; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Brian (Shirley) Tompkins, Neal Tompkins and Frank (Lisa) Tompkins.

Active pallbearers were Brian Tompkins, Neal Tompkins, Frank Tompkins, Josh Tompkins, Ricky Weed and Shon Searcy.
