Family searches for local teenager (updated)

A family is searching for a teenager after he left his home around noon today, according to a post on the “Buy Sell Trade Greenville” Facebook page.
According to the post, the teenager is missing from the Shackleville Road area and was last seen on Highway 10.
“The family has notified the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, and the sheriff’s office continues to actively search for the teenager,” said Butler County sheriff Kenny Harden.
The Greenville Advocate will continue to update as additional information is made available.

Update: Sheriff Harden reports that the Butler County Sheriff’s Office has located the teenager, and he has been returned home safely.
